WILL MEDICARE PAY FOR DIETARY CONSULT ORDERED BY MY CARDIOLOGIST?

My Heart alloy wants me to deliberate with the sanatorium dietition to rise the low cholesterol fast which we can live with. we have an active lifestyle, contingency eat most dishes in restaurants, am receiving Niaspan as well as the statin, though the LDL is still as well high. we have 2 stents in cardiac arteries, so we consider the deliberate is medically necessary, though the bureaucracy mostly sees things differently. The Dr. has since me the orders upon the medication form. Will Medicare pay?

Only if the Dietician is part of the Cardiologist’s practice.
