For myself, we would begin with drug contrast all who request for any kind of supervision handouts from food stamps, ssi, welfare, etc. What have been your ideas upon how to understanding with this. Personally, we consider the supervision should have worked to repair this initial prior to implementing any kind of illness insurance. BTW, I’m the really ardent & caring person. we only hatred rascal as well as people removing free-bees when they do not merit any help.

We should stop letting the Government oversee it.

You’re caring? So if someone smokes a joint, they shouldn’t be allowed to get assistance to feed their children? And how is someone who is so disabled that they need government assistance committing fraud by using drugs?
The most common type of welfare fraud is failure to report additional income, which has nothing to do with drug use.
Government assistance programs (excluding SSI) account for about 1% of the federal budget. Fraud accounts for a minuscule part of that amount.
The vast majority of Medicare fraud is not committed by the recipients, but rather by unscrupulous providers. Again, it has nothing to do with anyone’s drug use.

The fraud that I’ve seen as far as medicare – welfare goes has been by wealthy people. I’m not interested in attacking the poor. A lot of the poor seem to have a lot of problems that just aren’t handled well. You’ve got mental health problems, drug problems, etc. We don’t have enough jobs and opportunities. Get more jobs and opportunities then you will have more self-reliant individuals.
Fund education and after school programs.
The corrution that angers me is the kind that pays hugely to corporate honchos. That’s pernicious.

Put a 2 year time limit on Welfare. After that, instead of giving money, if there are kids, you give money to the schools for a 2-meal a day plan (including Saturdays).
For Medicare, the only way to clear it up is through constant audits, which would probably cost more than is stolen through fraud. Which is depressing.

It sounds like a good idea in theory but when you think about the consequences it would be a disaster. Way too many people use illegal drugs, imagine cutting off their lifeline. Most have no job skills, they have a slew of small children, who would care for them? There would be rampant crime and rioting.

Most fraud is Insurance Companies and Doctors double billing, and filing false bills with Medicare.
When caught, they should be fined three times the amount stolen, and banned from future participation.

Drug testing would work, but my solution is to get it out from under government control. I doubt any insurance companies post such losses.

That is not fair because there are also doctors and dentists as well as medical ins corporations that bilk the system. In fact I think it adds up to much more then what a few individuals might do concerning fraud .

Take it out of the Governments hands and turn it over to the private sector. You will be amazed on how much more efficient it will become in just one year.

Other than in Republican dreams, there is very little of each. Other than by corporations.
