I not long ago adopted dual beautiful kittens from a internal animal shelter. The not as big of a two, a masculine you declared Griffey, has been congested, coughing as well as sneezing given you brought him home. At initial you suspicion his coughing was attributed to hairballs, though you gave him a small hairball diagnosis with no results. you afterwards got a small antibiotics as well as have been giving him a sip of it twice a day though you still haven’t seen most difference. The oldster pronounced you should move him in to be tested for sly leukemia though from what I’ve been celebration of a mass he doesn’t have a common symptoms. He is FULL of energy, cooking good, as well as acts fine. The usually difficulty is his undiluted small nose as well as sneezing/coughing. Any ideas what this could be? you devise upon receiving him to a oldster tomorrow, though I’d adore to solve my nerves prior to then.

as long as they are still eating and being playful.. I wouldnt worry… could just be allergies.
he may need a different antibiotic… the symptoms you describe are not symptoms of feline leukemia.
Hope the kittys are okay. :)

one problem could be a respiratory infection. and another thing it could be is kennel cough, and yes cats can contract it. unlike respiratory infections which are caused by viruses, kennel cough is caused by a bacterium, Bordetella bronchiseptica. one other sign of feline leukemia is the apperance of a swollen or full stomach. which is actually fluid around the stomach. one way for testing is by removing fluid by needle from the out side of the stomach to test the fluids. i hope everything is ok and hopefully its just a little cold.
