The chemo experience can really vary. Even with those that have the same kind of cancer. I have been on five different chemotherapies over the course of 6 years, but only one made me lose my hair… which was also the one that almost killed me after being on it only a week. I took a pill form of chemotherapy each time. The side effects were fatigue, diarrhea and nausea. Some days it was worse or better than other days. Some people get violently nauseous on a chemotherapy but I didn’t usually feel that way. I rarely threw up.
It can be scary going through this because you never know quite what to expect, especially if you have to stop one chemotherapy and start on a new one. The risks of a chemo medication can also vary from person to person. Some people’s bodies can handle one drug and another person will have adverse reactions or even die from it. Also, the one that almost killed me is being used by many without adverse reactions, but if those same people took some of the chemotherapies I’ve had, there is a chance they would suffer adverse reactions or die.
Life is a fragile thing… there are so many different variables as to why someone dies or gets cancer or has a sad life and another person doesn’t. There never seems to be much rhyme or reason, so all we can do is keep hoping and keep trying to make things good and to make a difference in the world for good while we’ve still got the chance. Cancer is very unpredictable and scary but one thing I’ve learned is that you cannot let fear get the better of you nomatter what because all that does is paralyze you and prevent you from fighting the good fights and you let yourself be prevented from showing the courage that is within you and stifles your ability to share who you are with the rest of the world. None of us have alot of time to do that… maybe 100 years at best. You’ve got to see what your made of and share that with others. It’s better to die knowing that other people knew you and will be able to remember you than to die knowing that no one ever really knew you, perhaps even yourself.

This question is almost akin to walking into a cancer ward and asking questions. Sometimes dealing with this is a personal thing. Would I wanrt to share everything with a total stranger? No.
Even dealing with family members can be a hassle, let alone adding friends into the mix. Now, strangers want to invade someones personal life and want all the details.
Sorry, not going to happen.
