I CAN’T AFFORD MY APARTMENT ANYMORE, HOW DO I GET OUT OF MY LEASE AND FIND A NEW PLACE?

I’ve had the lot of illness problems which have utterly messed up my finance management so we need to pierce to the cheaper place. we still have 6 months left upon my lease, though. How can we get out of my franchise but being evicted?

    Find someone that would qualify to live there, using a site like craigslist. Go through the steps to add them as a roommate. Then, go through the steps to remove yourself. Depending on your contract, this may be the only leagal way you can get out of the lease without any fees.

    Talk to the landlord. Maybe something can be worked out. You may be able to find someone to take over the lease. When I was looking for a temporary place to live, I found an ad in the newspaper by someone who was looking for someone to takeover the last 3 months of the lease.
