FAFSA…..?

I live with usually my parents mom who is my usually authorised guardian. On a fafsa app. it asks me for that primogenitor we will yield imformation as well as it gives usually dual options of Father/stepfather as well as mother/stepmother. Should we collect mother/stepmother? we dont live with possibly my mom or father as well as they live out of state. Should we still make use of there information.

If you can prove and have documentation your grandmother has legally adopted you then you would put your grandmother’s information under mother/stepmother. Note: there may be a difference between being a legal guardian and someone adopting you.
If your grandmother has not legally adopted you, you need to contact your mother or father (which parent has provided the most support to you the most recently) and put their information and their spouses information. Like mom and step dads or dad and Step moms.
If you still aren’t sure call the Department of Education at 1-800-4FEDAID. Good luck.

you need only to use your grandmother’s income and yours if you were employed
